We are soon to be publishing The International Erotic Review, a quality quarterly publication focusing upon erotic art, poetry, photography and fiction. From India to Russia, from the UK to South Africa and Asia, we will be looking at, discussing and exploring the full range of erotic art and writing from a variety of different countries and cultures.

We are now looking for contributions for the first few issues. We are looking for unique good quality prose - fiction or poetry, up to 5000 words. At the moment we are unable to pay artists and writers, but we will print full contact details of all those concerned, their agents or publishers. We are particularly looking for writers with a vision, with something unique to say and those that are willing to slightly push the boundaries of normality and acceptability ö but NO pornography please !!.

Submissions can be made on disk, CD or double spaced hard copy and sent to Diverse Publications Ltd at the address below. We will contact the authors directly for publishing authorization if selected.

Near East Review is looking for a UK distributor.

Now in its second year, Near East Review features literature from around the world, with an emphasis on poetry from Britain, the USA and the Middle Eastern region. Edited by British poet George Messo, NER is the Middle Eastās first international English language poetry journal. NER expressly aims to counterpoise finely crafted works in translation, by established poet-translators, with original work in English, offering a unique context of dialogue and exchange. Back issues include new poems and translations by Peter Didsbury, Ahmet Shamlu, Sean OāBrien, Guven Turan, John Kinsella, Mahdi Majid Saleh, Peter Riley, Don Paterson, Enis Batur, Christopher Middleton, and more; in addition to featured interviews with John Ash and Ilhan Berk, the first English translations of Nazim Hikmetās prison letters to his son, a critical essay on Edward Said, with Louise Gluck and Bernard Lewis in review. The current issue includes an interview with the internationally acclaimed Turkish novelist, Yashar Kemal, Jeremy Reedās essay on the Persian poet Hafiz, Hanan al-Shaykh in review, and new poetry and translations from Pauline Stainer, Edip Cansever, Michael Waters, Enis Batur, Mohammed Bentalha, Deena Linett, Christopher Middleton, Oktay Rifat, Michael Lowenthal, Lucian Vasiliu, amonst others.

We are looking for a small but professional distributor for the UK and welcome offers/suggestions.
